Membership Challenge: 150 Years, 150 New Members
Help the Antiquarian Society celebrate its 150th anniversary with 150 New Members (and $25,000)! The Antiquarian Society will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2009. In addition to special programs and exhibits that are planned, we would like to commemorate this grand event by adding 150 new members to our membership.
You can help by joining the Antiquarian Society and encouraging others to join as well. As a member your support will contribute to our ability to share Hopkinton history through exhibits, programs, and publications.
This year the Antiquarian Society has received a special challenge to increase its membership. The Robert & Karin Finlay Foundation will award $25,000 each to the NH library, museum, and historical society with the largest percentage membership gain in 2008.
Join Today! Preserve Hopkinton’s rich heritage, celebrate our 150th anniversary, and help the Antiquarian Society win $25,000!

“C is for Cannon” – Do You Know Where it is?
As part of its Summer Reading Program, the Hopkinton Town Library is sponsoring a “Hopkinton/Contoocook Walkabout.” Participants are invited to discover Hopkinton and Contoocook by having someone take your picture at various locations in town. Pick up a list of these locations at the library or at NHAS. The Walkabout begins April 13 and must be completed by May 30. Everyone who completes the challenge will celebrate with an ice cream sundae party at the Library.
